Without forcing you to change who you are
If therapy has felt like something you had to “get right”…
or like you had to hide parts of yourself…
This will feel different.
Neurodivergence is an umbrella term that honors the many natural variations in how people’s brains process, feel, learn, communicate, connect, and experience the world.

There is nothing wrong with being neurodivergent.
But when the world isn’t built with difference in mind, you may have had to work twice as hard just to get through the day.
You’ve probably been managing this for a long time.
Figuring things out on your own. Adapting. Masking. Pushing through. Doing what you needed to do to get by.
You might have tried therapy before. Maybe it helped a bit. Or maybe it didn’t quite fit — like you had to explain yourself too much, or work harder just to be understood.
At Fluxo Psychotherapy, we offer affirming, collaborative therapy that doesn’t ask you to become someone else.
We can help you:
At Fluxo Psychotherapy, our Neurodivergent-Affirming DBT Program is designed to:
We meet you where you are—and build support that actually fits your brain, your needs, and your life.

We talk. You ask questions.
We figure out if this actually fits you.
(No pressure to commit.)

We get to know:
- what you’re dealing with
- what you need
- what hasn’t worked before
You’re not expected to fit the program.

This is where things begin to shift. You’ll take part in:
Weekly 90-minute DBT Skills Group
A structured, supportive space where you:
- learn practical skills
- practice them in ways that work for you
You don’t have to perform, explain perfectly, or “keep up.”
Weekly or Bi-Weekly Individual Therapy
A space just for you, where we:
- adapt the skills to your real life
- work through what’s coming up
- adjust things if something isn’t working
Because skills are only helpful if they actually fit you.

We don’t just “offer DBT.”
We’ve intentionally adapted it to be neurodivergent-affirming.
That means:
Our therapists are specially trained in DBT and in working with neurodivergent clients.
We bring both skill and humanity to the work.
Understanding therapy can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to help. Find answers to common questions below or reach out to us directly.
The program duration is 24 weeks.
Most people start to notice differences in a few weeks.
Yes—when it’s adapted.
Research shows DBT can help neurodivergent people with emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and relationships. But standard DBT isn’t always designed with neurodivergent needs in mind.
When adapted to be neurodivergent-affirming—respecting sensory needs, communication styles, and lived experience—DBT becomes more effective and less likely to increase shame or masking.
In short:
DBT works best when it’s shaped around your brain—not the other way around.
Let’s be honest—group therapy can feel intimidating.
So we do it differently.
Our groups are:
